The lawgiver of the Oliphants of Red Ridge, Amarula carries the staff that his ancestors carried before him, and his ancestors before them, all the way back to whichever Oliphant first decided that a verdict spoken aloud should be the kind of thing the universe is required to honor. His name is the name of the law, and his presence is the closing of the case. From the deep forests south of the Mundi Maard mainland, the Oliphants march with battle trumpets raised and their famous battle hymn on their lips: "Abandon all hope, ye pitiful who dare oppose us!" — and Amarula is the warrior whose decree turns that hymn into a sentence already passed. Every element of his sculpt — from the ornate ceremonial detail of his lawgiver's staff to the calm, judgmental authority of his stance — captures Loxodon authority refined into final, irrevocable judgment.
