A war-cry champion of the Oliphants of Red Ridge, Zaarik carries the loudest voice in a warband already famous for its battle trumpets. When his howl rises above the others, the rest of the Oliphants know it is time — and so do their enemies, briefly, before regret sets in. From the deep forests south of the Mundi Maard mainland, the Oliphants march with battle trumpets raised and their famous battle hymn on their lips: "Abandon all hope, ye pitiful who dare oppose us!" — and Zaarik is the warrior whose howl turns that hymn into something the survivors never stop hearing in their dreams. Every element of his sculpt — from his ornate Celtic-style shield to the heavy battle maul resting on his shoulder — captures Loxodon ferocity announcing itself in full voice.
